O καφές μας παίρνει το όνομά του από το χωριό Idido, μία τοποθεσία σε ύψος 1900 μέτρων στη περιοχή Yirgachefe στην Αιθιοπία.
Ο άνθρωπος πίσω από τον καφέ Idido, o Dukale είναι παραγωγός καφέ 2ης γενιάς και η οικογένειά του έχει μεγάλη παράδοση στην καλλιέργεια υψηλής ποιότητας καφέ εδώ και πολλές δεκαετίες!
