In the slopes of Serra do Pau D’Alho, coffee is produced at altitudes ranging from 900 to 1100 meters. Today Fazenda Lagoa has 210 hectares in coffee, producing average of 6.000 bags a year, and 600 hectares of preserved forest attracting conservationists from all over the world to study its hundreds of different bird species.
